Bangladeshi popular content creator and YouTuber Salahuddin Suman, along with his travel companion Niloy Kumar Bishwas, have successfully reached Antarctica — the coldest and most inhospitable continent on Earth.
This expedition is being highlighted as a remarkable milestone for Bangladeshi travel content creators.
Suman and Niloy began their journey from Ushuaia, Argentina (world’s southernmost city), and joined a special expedition organized by Oceanwide Expeditions, to reach mainland Antarctica.
Antarctic Islands and Stunning Landscapes
They visited various Antarctic islands and witnessed breathtaking scenes: massive icebergs, snow-covered mountain ranges, endless white plains, and dense penguin colonies that left them speechless.
This unique natural beauty resembles a wondrous kingdom at the end of the Earth.
Falkland Islands and South Georgia Island Journey
Before reaching Antarctica, they traveled to the Falkland Islands and South Georgia Islands as part of the expedition.
These British Overseas Territories are remote sub-Antarctic regions near Argentina.
There they observed huge penguin colonies, seals, various seabirds, and unique wildlife not easily seen elsewhere on Earth.

This challenging and arduous expedition has several major sponsors.
Turkish Airlines joined as title sponsor because Suman works as brand promoter for the institution. Additionally, Bangladesh’s leading internet service provider Dot Internet is the main sponsor of this expedition.
Suman Brings Antarctica to Bangla Language
Suman will document the entire expedition and publish on Facebook and YouTube channels.
By presenting the Antarctica experience in Bangla, it becomes a new opportunity for Bangladeshi viewers.
Expressing the feeling of reaching Antarctica, Suman said, “It was always my dream to show the world’s coldest continent to viewers in their own language. Bringing the coldest continent on Earth to Bangla before anyone else—this gives me immense joy. No one from Bangladesh had done this in Bangla before.”
Niloy Kumar Bishwas expressed excitement, saying, “Being part of this expedition makes me very happy. Antarctica is the ultimate dream for any traveler. Achieving this at age 27 is one of the best moments of my life.”
